Our Opinion:
During our in-store test of the AS200 we found that the main benefits of this model were the power, value for size, and maneuverability. The 1400W of power puts the suction of the AS200 in the same ballpark as most high-end vacuum systems, which, at this price really hammers home the value of this model. This leads to great performance on hard-surface flooring and deep penetration into low-medium pile carpets.
We found the that a mix of the weight of the vacuum and the air-driven powerhead made the AS200 feel nimble. The compact size of the head allowed it to reach under cabinets and chairs, which are often tougher to get at with standard electric powernozzles. The head on the AS200 feels light on the wrist and transitions through different carpet heights more effectively than even some electric powernozzles so long periods of use with this model shouldn’t feel strenuous or tedious. One of the biggest things that stood out for us with this model is size of the unit for the price.
At 3.0L of bag capacity, the AS200 is quite a bit larger than our other top selling air-only canisters with only a small difference in price. At this size of bag we would recommend this model for any size of home, with or without pets.
