Our Take:Quality has been what’s made the Miele C2 our most popular in-store sale. The Total Care became popular thanks to how light-weight the accessories feel. The weight of the powerhead, wand, and hose has been reduced by replacing a motorized powernozzle with a fan-driven one. Unlike other air-driven powernozzles, the Miele C2’s head feels sturdy and is easy to push on any style of flooring. The Parquet Twister floorbrush also included with the total care makes cleaning hard surfaces feel effortless. The head twists simply by turning the wrist.?
Overview:
The canister itself is fully sealed so exhaust air is forced through the bags and filters. This results in a practically perfect particle test reading. Another benefit of Miele’s rigorous filtration system is the protection to the motor. The bag and pre-motor ensure no dust makes it’s way into the motor, extending the life. Our experience is that Miele vacuums typically last for upwards of 15-20 YEARS! The compact Miele C2 design makes it easy to carry, store, and use. The canister sits on 3 castor wheels which allows the vacuum to glide over flooring, reducing snags and flips. A 1-touch cord rewind makes storage a breeze! Simply pull to the desired length, clean, and retract. 2 mounts on the canister allow the attachments to be stored with the machine.

Compact Shape:The C2 is the most compact canister offered by Miele. At ten and a half pounds, the C2 is easy to move, use, and store. The compact C2 Total Care takes this further with an air-driven powernozzle and air-only wand & hose. Miele removes weight by removing the motor system in the powerhead and replacing it with a fan. This makes the whole vacuum very light to push and move. A one-touch cord rewind makes the C2 Total Care easy to store.
Filtration:
The C2 Total Care relies on 3 layers of filtration: The bag, pre-motor filter, and exhaust filter. The high-quality 3D bags capture all coarse and virtually all fine debris. The bag features multiple filtration layers to both improve filtration and performance. The bag dispersed dirt evenly and allows the vacuum to pull from all sides of the bag so the vacuum doesn?t get bogged down even when nearly full. The pre-motor filter ensures that any debris that manages to get through is blocked before reaching the motor. The exhaust filter catches any debris created by the motor. Both filters are included in every pack of bags!?
Powerhead:
Powerhead:Miele has replaced the SEB 205 with the new and improved SEB 305. This new head glided across floors even easier than it’s predecessor! The 305 no longer sticks to carpet thanks to an easy to adjust air-valve on the top of the head. The 305 turns and moves easily as well due to two swivel points on the elbow. We find that this head works great on all styles of carpet thanks to the new air-valve. The 305 also works well on hard surfaces by using rubber wheels on the base of the head.
If an electric powerhead would be preferred then the Miele C2 Cat & Dog would be the best option for a compact machine with a powerhead.
